Obama in Colombia to scout out potential vacation spots for his family.
As his trip to Colombia for a 33-country Summit of the Americas had already been tainted by a Secret Service prostitution scandal, Obama faced fierce criticism from Latin American leaders. Colombian and Brazilian leaders criticized the bailout efforts, contending that America’s programs to jumpstart the economy have hurt foreign trade by raising the price of goods sold to the U.S.
During the Summit, Obama, attempting to appeal to the local crowd, let loose that “part of his job is to scout out” where he wants to bring Michelle back for vacation. No Obama, that is not part of your job.
